I walked in after vEdavalli mAmi's lec-dem while OST was singing the vardini kriti only, which was nice. The malayamArutam AlApanai was nicely presented by OST. Sunderrajan's reply on the violin sounded more like valaji in many places. The kriti was presented nicely with the neraval and svarams nicely structed. The short chandrajyOti rAga sketch and the kriti were beautifully rendered.

The main bilahari AlApanai was nice showing all essential rAga lakshaNams. Sunderrajan this time did a good job, though there were a couple of unwanted sancArams. The kriti, though a bit short, was neatly rendered and the neraval and svarams were just the way it should be done. The Percussionists were very supportive all thro' the concert and did an excellent job with the tani.

The nice sriranjani piece, followed by a excellent rendition of the nAdanAmakriyA tarangam and nADupai starting in the anupallavi led to the curtains.
