suruTTi short sketch
It was a very good concert. The elaborations of both tODi and bhairavi were very good and done in a very matured fashion. The kriti choice and handling were both very elegant and very bhava laden. The accompanists did a fantastic job in raising the concert to a much more enjoyable level. It was very good concert over all.

Hi. Could you please be more elaborate and technical in your reviews... if you have the time... would love that. I think you wrote longer some time ago. I am also curious why the choice of concert pieces has changed so much... so few of the good old pieces in these concerts... why? are they out of fashion? Or singers don't have confidence in their control of them? I mean things like panchratna kritis... or Janani ninnuvina? or Nagumomu ... any reason?
Keep up the good work
I like your reviews. You catch all those concerts not just in the main halls.
Thank you.
