It was a great concert. Being Sivarathri day, many of the pieces were on Lord Shiva. The AlApanais of bEgaDa and gamakakriyA were both presented with a lot of classical phrases. The kriti renditions were all crisp and clear. The accompanists were good.

On the whole it was an evening if grand classical music from the veteran. The bEgaDa made my day.
