An awesome concert. The yadukula kAmbhOji was divine. The rAgam and kriti and svarams were all so superb. The bhairavi AlApanai was very elaborate and totally showing the contours of the rAgam. A totally mesmerising kriti rendition with neraval and svarams at the anupallavi. It was very elaborate and left some of us guessing if this was the main item of the concert already. Such was the grandeur. However, we had more.

A grander bEgaDa followed. It was just too good. The AlApanai was also followed up with a tAnam. This was rather special and was very engrossing. The kriti was rendered with an elaborate round of neraval and svarams, and a tani to follow. The AbhEri kriti was sung on request from stage. It was a moving rendition. A trademark rAgamAlikA-pAsuram of vEdavalli had to come in. It did and was wonderful. And what more, the Ahiri ashtapati was only a cap on the crown. 

The concert was very fulfilling and wonderful. The accompanists were good and joined the musical experience that was thrown by the main artist, to the audience. What a concert that was.
