The youngster made a mark with his renditions of kritis. The Alapanais were all brisk and quite innovative. The manOdarmam parts were good. The kalpitam was good as well. The accompanists made the concert all the more enjoyable. A youngster to look forward in the future. I had to leave during the main.

Never realized what a blast it is to live in Chennai - theres so much Carnatic happening!!

I hope it wasn't the "Kharaharapriya effect"? :P
leaving during main was because the aroma of food from woodlands, which dragged me. Had to attend a wedding reception there...
If u are keen about "woodlands food" pls don attend concerts....
well said. it is high time the sabhas should stop selling food during the concert!! It has become a habit for people come there for food and in the bargain listen to some music too..sad :(
